All meetings are held in the Municipal Administration Building, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The meetings are open to the public, however, Council and its committees may meet in closed session to discuss items relating to acquisition, sale, lease & security of municipal property, setting a minimum price to be accepted by the municipality at a tax sale, personnel matters, labour relations, contract negotiations, litigation or potential litigation, legal advice eligible for solicitor-client privilege, and public security. In those instances, the public is not permitted to be present in the meeting room.

Anyone wanting to make a formal appearance before Council or its committees, or to speak informally to either group, can make an appointment through the Chief Administrative Officer.
Meetings are subject to cancellation and/or rescheduling and it is recommended that meeting dates be confirmed by contacting the Administration Offices at (902) 485-4311.
