The Municipality of Pictou County recognized the recreational efforts of Bill MacEachern of Lorne, Pictou County during its March Council Meeting. MacEachern recently participated in his 20th Polar Bear Swim on Jan. 1, 2019 at Melmerby Beach and will soon be competing in his 100th Marathon.
District 12 Coun. Chester Dewar, right, along with County Warden Robert Parker, left, made the presentation to MacEachern who thanked council for the recognition.
“This is a great little honour, especially for me because I think I am just out there having fun,” he said.
