Logan McDowell recently joined the Municipality as its new Director of Public Works and Development. Logan is a Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional as well as a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University (2009) and Dalhousie University (2011). He comes to the Municipality from the private sector where he worked for ten years as a consultant in Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia. As a strong advocate for Pictou County, Logan and his family returned to the area in 2018 and have since enjoyed our wonderful beaches, outdoor activities, shopping, and restaurants. He is excited to step into his new role and looks forward to delivering the highest levels of service possible to residents, to helping local businesses to expand, and to promoting good development throughout our region.
