Water Outage Plymouth Park and River Road

 NOTICE TO  CUSTOMERS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PICTOU COUNTY WATER UTILITY

PLYMOUTH, PLYMOUTH PARK AND RIVER ROAD AREAS

The Municipality of Pictou County Water Utility wishes to advise customers that there will be a water outage in the Plymouth, Plymouth Park and River Road areas on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 9:00 am until approximately 4:00 pm.

The outage will occur within the following roads/areas:

East River East Side Road, MacBeth Road,  Plymouth Flats Lane, Holland Lane, Jean Street, Plymouth Park Road, Plymouth Park, Hines Lane and River Road.

This outage is necessary to connect the existing county main to the Town of New Glasgow’s new Plymouth PRV building.

To avoid any inconvenience, please set aside sufficient water for this period of time, and turn off your electric hot water heaters.  We also advise you to turn off the shutoff valve inside your home to prevent any back syphonage of water. When the water service is restored, run your water until it runs clear
