The Municipality is developing a new land use policy for agricultural lands in MOPC in order to meet Provincial requirements. Join us for a discussion in your community to provide your input and help shape the future of our agricultural lands. The project team will present different approaches to policy and will be looking for community feedback to inform the development of a policy, which will then be brought back to the community for additional input before moving through the formal adoption process.
We have four upcoming sessions throughout Pictou County, so make sure you come and share your thoughts with the project team.
● Monday, February 23: Eureka Fire Hall, 6:30-8 PM, 5222 Stellarton Trafalgar Rd.
● Tuesday, February 24: River John Legion, 6:30-8 PM, 506 River John Station Rd.
● Wednesday, February 25, Scotsburn Fire Hall, 6:30-8 PM, 4179 Scotsburn Rd.
● Thursday, February 26: Merigomish Community Centre, 6:30-8 PM, 1682 Shore Rd.
