MOPC Begins Boundary Review Public Meetings

Every eight years the Municipal Government Act requires councils to apply to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board to confirm or alter the number of boundaries of polling districts and the number of councillors.
As part of the process, we are hosting six public meetings so we can get your opinion on the issue.
The first public session will take place Tuesday, September 6 in Council Chambers at 46 Municipal Drive, Pictou. September 6 at 6 p.m. You can attend in person or virtually through a link posted on www.munpict.ca
Other community sessions will be held:
September 8 – 7 p.m. Toney River Community Hall
September 12- 7 p.m. Hillside Hall
September 20 – 7 p.m. Plymouth Community Hall
September 21 – 7 p.m. Durham Community Hall
September 22 – 7 p.m. Merigomish Schoolhouse
