Royal Canadian Legion Branch 16, Willow Street, Pictou, at the cenotaph. Service begins at 10:45 a.m.
Branch 28 Royal Canadian Legion, Foord Street, Stellarton will have a Remembrance Day service on Nov 11. The parade will line up at the legion parking lot and march to the cenotaph service will start at 10:55 a.m. There will be a light luncheon with entertainment after the service back at the branch.
New Glasgow at the cenotaph in Carmichael Park on George Street at 11 a.m.
Please be advised of the following street closures on November 11th from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for the Legion’s Remembrance Day Ceremony:
George Street - Abercrombie Road to Provost Street
Terrace Street - George Street to Bell Street
EUREKA - The Remembrance Day Service is held at the Eureka and District Fire Hall. The cenotaph is outside and guests at 10:45 a.m., followed by lunch, which is then held inside the hall.
HOPEWELL - Service at First Presbyterian Church on Stellarton Trafalgar Road, Hopewell, at 10:45 a.m.
RIVER JOHN- 10:45 P.M. Remembrance Day Service at the cenotaph followed by a service at the St. George’s Presbyterian Church in River John at 11 a.m.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28 STELLARTON - The parade marches from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28 to the cenotaph for service beginning at 10;45 a.m. Remembrance Day service.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29 TRENTON - 11 a.m. service at the cenotaph on High Street. Reception to follow at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29, Trenton.
THORBURN – 11 a.m. service at the cenotaph in Thorburn. In case of inclement weather, it will be held at Union Presbyterian Church.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 35 WESTVILLE - 11 a.m. service at the cenotaph on Main Street, Westville.
SUNNY BRAE – 2 p.m. service at the Sunny Brae Veteran’s Memorial in Sunny Brae.
GLENCOE - Service at 2:30 p.m. at the Glencoe Hall at 957 East River East Side Road, Glencoe. The wreath-laying will take place at the cenotaph across the street from the hall and the service inside the hall.
