The Municipality of Pictou County has been hosting a series of community sessions in December to hear from residents on their thoughts about recreation and active living in their rural areas. So far, sessions have been held in Scotsburn, Alma, Eureka and Little Harbour with lots of opinions voiced from all ages.
Points taken from these meeting can now be viewed on https://www.peak.ca/pictou-recreation and will be updated as the sessions continue until December 18.
Everyone is welcome to attend upcoming sessions at the Merigomish Community Centre (Dec. 12), IOOF Hall, Thorburn (Dec. 13) and Royal Canadian Legion in River John (Dec. 18). All of these informal “kitchen table style chats” will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
