The Municipality of Pictou County will be postponing its remaining Let’s Talk Recreation and Active Living Community Sessions until the New Year.
Sessions scheduled for Merigomish, Thorburn and River John will now take place in January on the following dates:
January 10: Merigomish Community Centre
January 15: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 108, River John
January 17: IOOF Hall, Thorburn
Updates and reminders will be posted on our website at www.county.pictou.ns.ca as well as our Facebook and Twitter pages at Municipality of Pictou County.
So far, our “kitchen table” chats have been held in Scotsburn, Alma, Eureka and Little Harbour with opinions voiced from all ages and it is important everyone has input on how they can be more active in rural Pictou County.
Points taken from participants who attended these sessions that were held can now be viewed on https://www.peak.ca/pictou-recreation.
For more information on the upcoming sessions contact Cindy Fraser at cindy.fraser@munpict.ca or 902-485-8528 or Sueann Musick at sueann.musick@munpict.ca or 902-485-2238.
