Volunteer Week April 7 to 13

Local Mayors and Warden recently signed a proclamation declaring April 7 to 13 as Volunteer Appreciation Week.  Volunteer receptions are being held in the County and Towns to recognize volunteers who make a difference in our communities.  Here, New Glasgow Mayor Nancy Dicks takes her turn to sign the proclamation while Pictou Mayor Jim Ryan, back, left; Municipality of Pictou County Warden Robert Parker and Westville Mayor Roger MacKay look on.
