The Municipality of Pictou County hosted its first Let's Talk Recreation and Active Living community session Tuesday at the Scotsburn Fire Hall. About 20 people of all ages turned out to discuss recreation opportunities and challenges in rural Pictou County. This information will be used to form a strategic recreation plan for the Municipality in the future.
Six more community sessions will take place in December including tonight (Wednesday, Dec. 5) in Alma from 630-830 at the Alma Fire Department and Thursday, Dec. 6 in Eureka from 630-830 at the Eureka Fire Department. Please come out and share your thoughts on being active!
