Little Harbour Fire Chief Don Wadden recently presented Ray Haynes, left, from Pictou County Foodbank with a cheque for $1000. The Little Harbour Fire Dept have a bottle collection trailer set up at the fire hall for residents to drop off their empty bottles. All proceeds are donated to the Pictou County Food Bank. The department held their annual banquet in December and the ladies auxiliary members brought non-perishable items to donate to the food bank . In addition to the cheque, three large grocery carts of food were dropped off that day as well.
