LINACY, NS - The Municipality of Pictou County currently has a tender out for the demolition of the former Linacy School.
The Chignecto Central Regional Education Centre recently declared the former Linacy School as surplus property and it was turned back over the Municipality of Pictou County. The County made the decision to demolish the building and once this is complete, the land will be conveyed to the Linacy Fire Department.
The tender for demolition will close Nov. 30 after which a contract will be awarded. It can be found at www.novascotia.ca/tenders.
