As we usher in 2022, our council has made progress on several issues. One project that our council had fought for was a roundabout in Abercrombie. Thankfully this was completed in the fall of 2021.

I was impressed by how this was collaboratively addressed. All three levels of government supported it. Our first responders lobbied for the change, and our county residents pushed for a safer intersection. A thanks need to go to Nova Scotia Public Works for making it happen. As the councillor for the area, I simply want to thank all involved. It shows how when we all get behind something worthwhile good things happen.
Sincerely,
District 8 Coun. Larry Turner
